Made with min-till in mind

FIRST showing from Opico is the Vari-disc giant cultivator which joins the growing range of mach-ines aimed at min-till enthusiasts.

The implement has a combination of tines, discs and rollers and is available in 4.5m and 6m builds. A bank of shear bolt protected rigid tines is followed by two rows of angled discs and a Prisma roller.

The discs deserve a special mention in that they are individually suspended from the main frame – avoiding problems of trash build up on axles. The angle of the discs can also be adjusted to suit prevailing conditions.

Requiring a minimum of 220hp to operate, the 6m version has a list price of £24,181. &#42

Opicos Vari-disc giant cultivator makes its debut at the Cereals event. Note the individually mounted discs which avoid the need for a common axle.
