Maize work for 98

WHILE many growers are still harvesting maize, Garford Farm Machinery has turned its attention to next years crop.

The inter-row maize cultivator is available in four, six and eight row widths for mechanical weeding.

Tines are adjustable on each holder, which offers further adjustment on the toolbar.

"It has been developed to suit maize grown in 28in and 30in rows, though other row permutations are possible," explains Garfords David Shepherd.

Available as a rear mounted unit with end-tow facility, the inter row maize cultivator range can also be front-mounted with hydraulic folding.

The £4804 6-row unit can also be fitted with a band sprayer.
