Making sure that sparks dont fly

WATER and electricity can be a recipe for a disaster when it comes to using electrical equipment or lighting. To make the task safer, Milton Keynes-based Ackermann has developed a hose-proof flexible connector for circuits up to a single rating of 16A.

Comprising a conductor and splitter, the IP66 connector features couplers with coloured bands to enable circuits to be identified quickly and with certainty.

Other safety features include a fully shuttered socket, so that live disconnected terminals are fully child proof and a click and lock connection system for safe and quick attachment. (01908-611780)
