COUNTRY Link is 10 years old this autumn and returns to Malvern, Worcs – where it all began – to celebrate at the Abbey Hotel, Great Malvern.

Worcestershire Country Link Group is hosting the weekend (Fri, Oct 27 to Sun, Oct 29) and extends a hearty invitation to all the founder members to join in this happy occasion, and to members both old and new who have not attended a Country Link weekend before. All are assured of a lively few days of fun and friendship. Please book early.

The programme includes a farm walk (607ha (1500-acre) dairy and arable enterprise), a visit to a sugar beet factory, a ramble over the Malvern Hills, and trips to Cadbury World, Slimbridge Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, Eastnor Castle, Hanbury Hall and the West Midlands Safari Park. A dip in the internationally famous Brine Bath at Droitwich and a visit to a private collection of British sports cars are also on the itinerary.

There will be a ceilidh and disco on Friday evening and an anniversary dinner with dancing to a live band on Saturday evening.

The cost is £110, which includes bed and breakfast and evening meals on two nights. Accommodation for Sunday night may also be booked at an additional charge of £30.
