Man crushed to death on Scottish farm

A 55-year-old man has died after he was crushed under a car on a farm in Scotland.

The man has not yet be named but the accident took place on Wednesday 15 April on the farm in Kenknock East, near Killin, Stirlingshire.

Firefighters arrived to find the man had been removed from beneath the vehicle and carried out first aid until the ambulance service arrived.

A police spokeswoman added: “Police were called to the farm at around 6.30pm on Wednesday, after a man was reported to be trapped under a vehicle.

“Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance took the man to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee but he was later pronounced dead. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
