May grass diary date

GRASSLAND conservation and management will be the focus of the new Grassland 2000 Event to be held on Wednesday, May 10 near Shepton Mallet, Somerset.

So if youre in the market for a new machine, or want to keep abreast of the latest grassland and maize management techniques, make a date to visit Bagborough Farm, adjoining the Royal Bath and West Showground.

More than 40 ha (100 acres) of working demonstrations, trade stands, maize demonstration and muck disposal equipment will be on display. There will also be a wealth of technical and financial advice available free of charge.

The showground is within easy access of the M4 and M5 motorways, so why not make a date to update your grassland knowledge?

As livestock margins grow tighter, theres never been a better time to keep ahead of the field with the latest technical and machinery news and views on display at Grassland 2000.
