Meeting new leader was good for charity

A COFFEE morning at the home of Molly Evans at Coddington near Ledbury gave Hereford-South members the opportunity to meet their new contact leader, Thelma Green. Thelma has kindly stepped in to run the club after the sad death of Hazel Phillips.

It was good to see so many members turn out to support this event which was in aid of Headway, the charity that helps people who have suffered brain damage. Owen, Mollys husband was in his element showing the members around his extremely well kept garden and selling them plants. By the end of the morning £270 had been raised to present to Sheila Sanders of Headway.

Molly Evans presents Sheila Sanders with a cheque for £270 for the charity Headway. The money was raised by Hereford-South members through raffle ticket and plants sales during a coffee morning at Mrs Evans home.
