Mexico concludes trade deal with EU

Mexico and the European Union (EU) have struck a comprehensive deal liberalising most of the trade between the two trading blocs by 2007.

In agriculture, trade in 62% of goods would be fully liberalised, although meat, cereals and dairy products would be excluded.

The deal is still subject to ratification by both legislatures.
