MM clause to go

MILK Marque will remove its force majeure clause at the end of this month.

The emergency measure was introduced in mid-August when the drought caused a 10% drop in milk production. Milk Marque could no longer meet its contract obligations in full and cut its supplies to dairy companies.

A spokeswoman said on Wednesday that milk production had recovered and that MM was now confident that it could meet all contracts again.
