CLAIMING to be cheaper than complete diet feeders is the mobile feeder range from Zerrard.
In tractor-mounted and trailed versions with hopper capacities of 1100- and 1700 litres, the Zerrard machines use two pto driven augers to first mix concentrates in the hopper before feeding.
Discharge can be to either side of the machine via a rear-mounted auger, with unloading said to take about three minutes. Prices start at £1995. *
Discharge height of the Zerrard concentrate mixer/feeder is adjustable to suit feed troughs, passageways and hoppers.
