Mobile grain milling – tractor powered. The G500 trailed Grain Mill manufactured by Bod Farm Machinery, based at Winchcombe, Glos, incorporates a hammer mill employing 48 hammers and variable screen sizes to produce the required sample. Grain enters the mill from a 2.5m (8.2ft) wide intake hopper and, once milled, exits via a hydraulically powered auger for a discharge height of about 2.5m. Output, depending on grain type can be as high as 10t/hour, claims the manufacturer. Price starts at £8750.
