Lelys Splendimo 321PCtrailed mower is intended as a more affordable version of its 320PCNmodel.

LELY says its new 32MC mower combination will appeal to large estates which do not require the services of a contractor.

Requiring 140hp at the pto, the company claims the 6.4m outfit offers greater mowing flexibility.

Each unit can be uncoupled quickly and operated on lower horsepower tractors.

Output for the 32MC mower is rated at 4.5ha/hour (11 acres/hour), a work rate deemed high enough to feed the companys RP520 Welger round baler.

Also on display from Lely was the new Splendimo 321PC trailed mower conditioner. Labelled as a low cost version of the 320PCN trailed mower, the 321PC features an eight disc cutting bed suspended on a parallelogram frame.

Suspension springs are designed to allow the mower to follow ground contours, and twin-bladed contra rotating discs allow even swath distribution.

The conditioning unit incorporates plastic fingers to remove the waxy layer from the swath, and an adjustable deflector plate produces airy and even swaths, insists Lely.

Prices for both mower outfits are on application. &#42
