Mugabe enraged at Britain for
trying to derail farm seizures
ZIMBABWE president Robert Mugabe has accused Britain of trying to derail his Governments programme to seize farms owned by descendants of white British settlers.
Mugabe has promised to seize 1,500 white-owned farms and distribute the land to poor blacks. He is enraged by what he sees as a smear campaign against him. He denied he was buying a castle in Scotland and he challenged the Government to find any property he owned in Britain, to sell it and give the proceeds to charity.
