NBA warns against additive ban
THE National Beef Association (NBA) has warned that new legislation from Brussels could pose a threat to mineral blocks, licks and liquid supplements.
It fears the EU is about to ban all such types of supplementary feeding and insist additional nutrients are incorporated in the daily ration.
The NBA is pressing the Ministry of Agriculture to try and get accepted a local authorisation procedure which would approve the routine use of supplements.
