New building gives boost to training
PRACTICAL poultry training has just received a big boost by the commissioning of a new £40,000 demonstration building at Easton College, Norwich.
Opened in November last year and now stocked with its second crop of birds, the new building incorporates four poultry production rooms.
All rooms are fitted with modern equipment, a viewing gallery, a 25-seat lecture room and a computerised office.
This new training facility for college students and industry personnel has been jointly funded by almost 50 poultry industry firms, plus contributions from other local and national organisations.
It is also open to visits by poultry farmers, stockmen, parties of schoolchildren and the public. *
