New head at Scottish Agricultural College
THE Scottish Agricultural College has appointed Professor Karl Linklater as its acting principal and chief executive until a permanent appointment is made.
Prof Linklater succeeds Professor Phil Thomas, who was the first principal of the new college when it was re-organised on a Scotland-wide basis in 1990.
Professor Linklater is a former head of the colleges veterinary science division.
