New Holland on the Case
NEW HOLLAND is in the throes of completing a $4.2 billion (£2.62bn) takeover of Case, and already plans are afoot rationalise the combined groups operations.
Case/New Holland is looking to realise cost savings of up to $500m from the merger, reports the Financial Times.
A key component of this will be the emergence of a common platform between the two groups. It is intended to retain the various brandings of this platform, as well as the respective marketing and distribution arms of each individual company.
