New leader for BAGMA
NEW president of the British Agriculture and Garden Machinery Association is Bill Simpson, who retired recently as managing director of Grampian tractors, Turriff, Aberdeen.
Mr Simpson, who is a director of the Royal Highland Agricultural Society, is the 42nd president of BAGMA and the third Scot to hold the office.
The dealers organisation BAGMA has gone from strength to strength since it joined forces with the British Hardware Federation with membership approaching 700, said Mr Simpson.
"BAGMA has made a number of notable achievements in recent years and is now offering a comprehensive educational and training programme for dealers and their staff," he said. *
