LATEST French bull proof run reveals a new number one bull, Igale Masc whose converted UK proof also puts him top of the UK ranking, according to Brian Bolton, UK agent of Sersia France.
Igale Mascs UK proof shows £147 PIN and £152 ITEM, with 1162kg of milk, 40kg (+0.03%) protein and 36kg (-0.15%) fat, with 59% reliability. His type merit score is 1.7 and he produces high wide rear udders with good support and good teat placement, adds Mr Bolton.
A Mascot son from a Southwind cow, he has been used as a sire of sons already. His second proof in October should add 20-30 daughters to the 44 in this first proof giving him a more acceptable reliability, he says. *
