NFU reject claims
MAFFs repeated claim that there is no chance of milk quota reallocation within the EU has been rejected by the NFU.
Giving evidence to the agriculture select committee, NFU leader Sir David Naish said the government should continue to press the case for an increase in UK quota to meet the shortfall.
NFU milk adviser Dr Julie Smith told MPs cross border leasing had been considered by the NFU but rejected.
