No sweat, shearing pack off shelf…

TAKE the headache out of selecting suitable shearing equipment with two off-the-shelf shearing packs designed specifically for producers, says distributor Cox.

The Standard Farmer Pack, comprising two Jet cutters and an Ovina comb is designed to meet requirements of small flock owners, according to the company. The comb is said to ensure easy wool entry and be ideal for shearing, crutching and dagging. It costs £16.62.

The Wider Farmer Pack is aimed at larger flock owners or more experienced shearers. It contains two Jet cutters and a Pro 5 comb and is suitable for all-round shearing jobs, says the company. It costs £18.50 (0845-6008081, fax 0800-7836655).
