No time for debate

LEADER of the Commons, Ann Taylor, has again failed to guarantee time for MPs to debate the future of British agriculture.

Teignbridge MP Patrick Nicholls asked for a full-day debate on the income crisis afflicting the industry.

Mrs Taylor insisted the Prime Minister and his colleagues were aware of the problems faced by many in agriculture. But she could not promise a debate "in the near future". &#42
