OAP may have been trampled

THE body of a pensioner was found in a field in Lyminster, West Sussex, on Monday after she was apparently trampled by cows.

The local woman had taken her four dogs for walk. Two of the dogs were found dead by her side, while the other two managed to escape. A man and woman who were walking along a footpath made the discovery.

Police are still investigating but believe it likely that the woman was killed by the cattle. There were about 50 cows and one bull in the field where the body was discovered. &#42
