Organic food put to the taste test

THE Daily Telegraph recruits a panel of readers, writers and professionally involved staff to test out claims that organic food tastes different from the conventionally grown product.

Through a menu of raw vegetables, ham, chicken, eggs, sausages and potatoes, the newspaper fails to resolve the question. It reports the organic enthusiasts remained “enthusiastic” while the cynics stayed “sceptical”.
