Organic switch sees top Ayrshires on market

Buyer was E &#42 Arden, Chester.

The May 1998-bred bull Attwell Acorn, by Forever Schoon MM Cornelius and out of the 10,000gns breed record holder Upper Woodhead Apricot 3rd, made 2000gns to A McCaw, Co Londonderry who took several lots. Other notable bids included 1700gns from John Gough for the 9000kg heifer Leahvalley Milestone Star. Averages: 59 cows £552 and five served heifers £420. (Wright-Manley). &#42
