Paver supports a strong grass layer

LOAD bearing grass surfaces can be created says Farmura, using its latest matrix paving system.

Designed to be laid into soil before planting, the interlocking system provides a strengthening layer which can support vehicle movements while promoting grass growth.

Made of high density polyethylene, the Matrix Paver blocks use holes in the base to enable grass roots to grow through the strengthening blocks to create an underlying root zone.

In addition to soil, Farmura says the Matrix Paver blocks can be filled with a variety of substances including gravel, bark and chippings. Two sizes are available with prices starting at £11/sq m. (01233-756241).
