Peruvian coffee makes a comeback
PERUVIAN coffee is making a comeback after several decades of decline caused by political disruption, reports the Financial Times.
The revival is driven by a couple of US buyers who covet some of the regions unique varieties.
It has also been helped by various national and international agencies which have helped to improve quality and lift production.
Output this year is 10% ahead of last years. But prices remain depressed.
