Pour-on to repel midge attacks

REPEL sweet-itch-aggravating midges from horses and spend more time riding, claims Crown Veterinary Pharmaceutical, Lancs.

Its Beatitch pour-on concentrate aims to repel the midges and when sweetitch has started it will prevent it from worsening, claims Crown. It says Beatitch can be applied easily and accurately from the special dispensing bottle without frightening the animal.

One treatment protects a horse, pony or donkey for a week. It costs from £1.75 to £4 a treatment depending on the size of the animal (01772-452421).
