Professor to teach pigs to spell

PIGS are notorious for their smell – but soon they could spell, too

Professor Stanley Curtis, who is teaching pigs at Pennsylvania University to play
simple video games, hopes they will eventually be able to spell out simple sentences using on-screen icons.

He believes pigs can be taught to communicate with humans via a computer
screen.
