Rank Hovis raises flour price
BREAD prices are set to rise following a decision by Rank Hovis to raise the price of its bread-making flour by £10/t from 1 November.
British Bakeries, part of the same group as Rank Hovis, said it was reviewing the situation.
Rank Hovis and competitor Allied Mills together produce more than half of the UKs flour. Allied Mills said yesterday it would not increase its prices.
