Reck Silage-spreader

Up on the clamp visitors were treated to a display from an implement that is claimed to replace the humble buck-rake.

The Reck Jumbo is a silage-spreader of the type often used in Germany and Holland.

Suitable for front or rear mounting, the pto-powered drum rotates to loosen the heap grass when it is tipped.

It breaks up lumps and spreads the crop in an even layer to ensure it is properly consolidated.

With the ability to be angled to left or right, it can also be used to throw the silage into awkward corners and fill the clamp right to the edge.

Available in widths from 2.2m – 3m, prices range from £4000 to £9000.
