THE Princess Royal has warned that government red-tape is threatening to prevent new entrants from securing a better future for farming.
Speaking in her role as Master of the Worshipful Company of Farmers, Princess Anne said: "The weight of regulation we have in this country, is in danger of prohibiting many people from taking leadership roles.
"It seems to me to be extremely odd," she told students at the 17th Annual Farm Management Lecture, held at Plymouth Universitys Seale Hayne faculty. *
