REDUNDANTBUILDINGSGRANTSCHEMEEngland

THIS scheme, run by the Regional Development Agen-cies (RDAs), was launched as part of the Action Plan for Farming in spring 2000. It was due to close in March 2001, but because of its success the government has awarded extra money to the RDAs. Each RDA is run separately and in some regions the scheme, which aims to encourage and support farm diversification by offering support to projects that re-use farm buildings, has been rolled over.

Alternative grant aid may be available under the Rural Enterprise Scheme.
