Respirator comes with in-built valve

INHALATION valves are fitted within the cartridge, rather than the facepiece, of a low-maintenance respirator.

Derbyshire-based Moldex says this valve design, fitted to its 8000-series respirator, enables the user to benefit from a new valve each time the twin cartridges are replaced. A variety of cartridge types are available to provide protection against gases, vapours and particles.

Supplied with an adjustable head harness, the respirators also have a thermoplastic facepiece which can be scrubbed clean after use. Price of the 8000-series range starts from about £15 (0115-9442130).
