Right to roam is a muddle
LADY BYFORD, Conservative spokesperson on agriculture, has warned the government that its attempts to interfere with the countryside are “a muddle”.
She raised her opposition during the committee stage of the Countryside and Rights of Way Bill, scheduled for debate by the Lords after summer recess, reports The Daily Telegraph.
Lady Byford expressed concerns about Government intentions when it came to mapping private lands and public access to private property.
