Ring feed answer

PREVENTING lambs from entering ring feeders while still allowing them and horned sheep to feed can be difficult. But Ritchie believes it has the answer with its sheep ring feeder.

The feeder has a 45cm (18in) deep bottom skirt and tube-free 19cm (7.5in) central section. This allows both lambs and horned sheep access to fodder, says the company.

Constructed in two halves, the feeder is said to be easily movable by one person. It is 1.55m (5ft) in diameter, 1.22m (48in) high and costs £155 (01307-462271, fax 01307-464081).
