Roller makes hasty work of seed-beds

VADERSTADS range of cultivation equipment now includes a roller which can be used in conjunction with the companys seed drills, disc and stubble cultivators.

The Crosskill roller, which has been designed to reduce the number of passes required to create a seed-bed, comprises rings of two different sizes which rotate at different speeds. According to the manufacturer, the roller works equally well in heavy clays and light soils.

Available in widths of 4.5m to 12.2m (14.7ft to 40ft), a clod crusher board and a hydraulic levelling board can be fitted to increase its effectiveness. &#42
