Roundhouse circular cattle building plans bigger version

Six of these fabric-roofed Roundhouse circular cattle buildings have been built and another 14 are on the way, says the firm.

Substantial savings in straw, labour and vet med products, plus getting cattle to market three weeks earlier, are the main attractions. At the moment there is just one size suitable for about 150 cattle. But work has begun on designing a bigger version with twice the floor area, which should be available in about two years’ time. Roundhouse is also looking at offering a slatted-floor version with circular slurry tank beneath.
