Royal Highland Show high on entries

By FWi staff

THIS years Royal Highland Show has already received well over 4000 livestock entries, despite the downturn in the industry.

The number is almost on a par with last years show, according to organisers. The total number of entries so far stands at 4,232, with entries for dairy cattle still to be finalised, compared with 4,751 last year.

The sheep and goat entries this year have shown an increase, with sheep up 17 to 1370 and goats up 28 to 210. The event will be held on 25-28 June, at Ingliston, near Edinburgh.
