Royalty plan anger
PLANT breeders have condemned the NFUs rejection of their proposals for farm-saved seed royalty payments.
Representatives from the British Society of Plant Breeders met NFU officials but reached no agreement on the issue.
David Taylor, BSPB chairman, said they were "disappointed" that the NFU rejected a three-year phasing-in offer and refused to accept the need for any figure higher than 35% of C2 royalty. *
