RSPCA wants to flush out hunters
The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) is alarmed at infiltration by the pro-hunting lobby to sabotage the charitys opposition to hunting.
The society is exploring ways of excluding foxhunters or limiting their influence. The issue has been highlighted by the election of Elizabeth Burton, a candidate endorsed by the pro-hunting lobby, to the RSPCAs ruling council.
The infiltration has gained momentum with the anti-hunting Bill now before Parliament.
