SAC demonstrates dairy welfare

THE Scottish Agricultural College (SAC) is devoting a day to demonstrating the best ideas and products which can improve a dairy cows welfare and comfort.

The meeting is to be held at the SAC John Hannah Building, Auchincruive, Ayr, on 10 November.

The main themes will be measures for reducing lameness, engineering and building design tips for improving cow welfare and comfort, and the ventilation of buildings for good cattle health.
