uSYMONDS & Sampson has held its seventh video sale of dairy cows and says that the past two video auctions have been real flyers, with several new buyers. The latest sale was for Ray Hillyer of Coombe Farm, Sherborne, Dorset, and trade topped at 900gns, with an overall level of £570, says the auctioneer.

uBAKEWELL auction mart in Derbyshire has held its latest digital sale, with over 80% clearance from 259 cattle entered. A selection of prices ranged from £340 for 19- to 21-month-old Hereford cross steers. Limousin cross heifers at 23 to 25 months old running with the bull were trading for £350, and 6- to 7-month-old Continental cross bulls were making £390.

uEXMOOR Farmers Livestock Auctions latest video sale of suckled calves secured a 90% clearance rate, with nearly 1000 sold. Most were Charolais cross steers born between February and May this year and averaged about £340 to £400. Heifers sold to £218. &#42
