Scientist backs Prince Charles
A SCIENTIST writes in The Guardian in support of calls from Prince Charles for more emphasis on traditional farming systems.
Mae-Wan Ho, a reader in biology at the Open University, says that the Prince was “speaking for the people when he called for support for organic farming”.
Charles caused controversy last week when, in a Reith lecture, he criticised gene biotechnology and urged people to adopt a more sacred view of the planet.
