Scottish horticulture blooming

SCOTLANDS horticultural trade is booming – some £10 million up on last year at £90m, according to a report in The Herald.

The fruits of this trade will be on show at this weeks Scotgrow trade exhibition at Ingliston, Edinburgh, which will feature 140 specialist trade stands.

Core activities will focus on glasshouse and nursery production, hardy nursery stock, vegetables, soft fruit, trees and retailing.
