Scottish land reform is state socialism
THE Governments proposals for Scottish land reform announced this week represent a move towards state socialism, claims a contributor to The Times.
The Government said it intended to compulsorily purchase the land of rogue landlords and give financial help to local communities to buy estates up for sales.
The contributor says that if these proposals are voted on the statute book “a powerful interventionist weapon will be handed to any Scottish parliament”.
