Scottish Office consults on sheep tagging
THE Scottish Office has sent out draft proposals on tagging sheep for consultation.
The Government says animal identification is fundamental in controlling the disease and boosting consumer confidence.
Tagging will also bring the UK in line with European Commission directives and practices in other countries.
