See the sights of old Gloucester

ENJOY a day in Gloucester meeting FWC members from other areas.

On Fri, May 12, we shall visit Gloucesters historic port area, meeting at the National Waterways Museum at 11am. This is a fascinating place and shows the history of transport on the waterways of this country going back over 200 years.

We will have lunch at Berrys Restaurant, Southgate Street at 1pm and the afternoon is free. You may return to the dock area, which houses the museum of advertising and packaging as well as an antiques centre and interesting shops. The cathedral is not far from the dock area, a haven of peace and quiet.

This trip is also open to Farmlife readers who may be interested in joining the Farm Womens Club.

Cost for entrance to the Inland Waterways Museum and lunch Members: £15 Non-members: £20.

Complete the coupon and send with payment in full by May 1 Numbers are limited and applications will be treated on a first-come first-served basis.
