Seed company is up for sale
SEED company CPB Twyford could be sold by Cambridge Plant Breeders, which acquired the company from Bibby only last February.
The company sells a broad range of plant species and varieties. Its primary asset is membership of the International Breeders Association, which gives it access to other European breeders varieties for sale on the UK market.
"If we dont get a reasonable offer, we wont sell it," said CPB Twyford managing director Ray Spreadbury.
He added that the company had been put on the market following interest from potential buyers.
