Sign up for broadband

RURAL Britains need for swift, broadband internet access is the focus of our new campaign organised in conjunction with the Country Land and Business Association.

Broadband Rural Britain aims to persuade the government and British Telecom to make this essential business service widely available throughout the UK.

Most urban businesses are able to benefit from BTs ADSL Broadband service, which offers connection speeds up to 50 times faster than a traditional dial-up connection. But fewer than 1120 exchanges out of a total of 5500 have been enabled to offer the service, leaving vast rural areas unsupported.

We believe that places a brake on farming and other rural businesses, which all need the latest technology to compete efficiently. If you would like to back our campaign, please sign the form and return it to us. Alternatively you can sign on-line by visiting farmers weekly Interactive (www.fwi.co.uk/broadband).
